Canine Academy Stone Mountain Pet Lodge’s Canine Academy is an in-lodge training program with a focus on obedience training. Canine Academy meets at 1:00 PM each day and includes a 30-minute session with your dog, our head trainer, Rob, and one of our assistant trainers. Rob supervises the training of each of the dogs, which follows Stone Mountain’s Obedience 1 curriculum: whatever the Monday 7:30 PM class is working on in a given week is the same skills Canine Academy will be teaching and practicing.
Your dog will practice and train in all the same skills they are learning in Obedience Level 1. We recommend enrolling them five days per week, but even two or three days per week will produce results. By following the Obedience 1 curriculum, you can track along and reinforce your dog’s training at home.
