In-Lodge Training Overview Can’t find time to work with your adult dog or new puppy? Having trouble enjoying the life you dreamt of with your canine companion? Do you love your dog but just don’t know where to start when it comes to training and manners? Stone Mountain has the solution for you! Our In-lodge Training Program is great for busy professionals that just don’t have that extra time to take their pet’s obedience and manners to the next level of satisfaction that they’re looking for. We all know it takes time and consistency to train a well-behaved dog, however, it isn’t always easy to accomplish that when working a full time job. Why not let us take care of the training for you? Through our in-lodge training program our professional and experienced trainers are focused on giving you fast results that last. We’re here to help improve your dog’s basic obedience, manners and thinking skills that they’ll use in everyday life. Your dog will be worked with 5 days a week for three full 15-minute training sessions. Your dog will be taught the most important commands including walking on a loose leash, no jumping, coming when called, sit, down, place, stay, leave it and much more. Choose what you want your dog to learn! You have the opportunity to create a set of training goals with your trainer. We want to create a training program that’s right for you and your pooch! It is important for our trainers to create a relationship with your dog while they are staying with us. We always recommend a minimum of two weeks for dogs that are new to the program. In two weeks, most dogs have time to get settled into their new environment and can focus better on their instructor and on training. If you choose to enroll your dog in training for a shorter period of time while your dog is lodging with us, we’d be glad to get you started off on the right foot but lasting results will vary for a stay that is less than 2 weeks. Having more issues than just obedience? We can do that too! Our trainers are great with behavior modification. Ask your trainer about other fun obedience behaviors: Drop It, Front, Finish, Retrieve, Out, Kennel / Crate, Trick, Training, Agility, Remote Collar, Clicker, AND MORE! Training is $30/night in addition to lodging and runs Tuesday- Saturday. On days your dog is not being trained, you will pay for just lodging!
